Hluhluwe National Park

We left at 5:00 am to see the wildlife. Within 300 yards of entering the park we run into the pride of lions. We thought what a great start we will see tons of cats here. This was the only sighting we had of cats all day.

Mary did something to tick off this Elephant he chased us a couple of hundred yards down the road.

He finally stopped and just yelled at us.

Red Eyed Dove
One of those to close to call moments. This elephant came trotting of this hill and by the time I got the car in gear and moving he was about 6 feet away.
The tree was shaking as these two scratched their rear end.

Village outside of the main park gate.
All of the parks are entirely surrounded by barbed wire and razor wire, all 500 miles of it. On the left is open country the right is the National Park. I guess the yellow is caused by overgrazing of livestock.

These kids were ouside the main gate and would dance for buses driving by for money.
This dude came up to our car and asked Mary for a pen. He then ran off with it.
